Riverkeeper, in tandem with the Garrison Institute and fellow environmental orgs, are working with spiritual leaders in the Hudson Valley to commit to taking action to repair, restore, and protect the Hudson River and its watershed.

Riverkeeper is calling on our members to bring the “Statement of Shared Values and Committed Actions” to their center of worship to help create an even stronger, broader community that will be charged to protect our Hudson River and its watershed for decades to come.

Riverkeeper's mission is to protect the environmental, recreational and commercial integrity of the Hudson River and its tributaries, and to safeguard New York City's and Westchester County's drinking water supply.

Harrison has served as ‘airborne watchdog' to help Riverkeeper identify and prosecute polluters of the Hudson River.
